II, 88” Seven seater Station Wagon, manual, ’63
on an A. Powder blue, two former keepers, 25,000 miles. This vehicle
is in absolute original condition. It requires minor welding to bulkhead
in region of top hinges (usual place), sections supplied. The rear
body panel on the O/S has a minor crease; looks to me as if it will
pull out. It needs new glass runners all round, (supplied), new door
tops, (supplied), seats need reconditioning (some idiot painted all
the elephant hide white), new hood lining and inner upholstered panels
(all because of the white paint).
The vehicle is solid. Lovely chassis, with nice repair to rear
cross member. Then it will need paint; all easy work; another very
sound first time starter. Not many early Station Wagons around.
Fast appreciating classic, ideal for the family, picnics, camping
and rallies. Fitted white 8-spoke alloys and new tyres. Get this
up to standard and it will last the rest of your life, and appreciate
in value.
Tax free motoring and low, low classic insurance. With MOT, for
minor restoration. £ 1,000.00
